Top Gun Firearms Training is owned and operated by Joe Di Salvatore. Joe's Firearms Experience is extensive and dates back to his early childhood. Like most people, he was exposed to Firearms through his father, who is an active recreational firearms user, and, is also a Master instructor. Stepping his game up in every aspect, in order to qualify at his first National championships in 2005, brought great opourtunity for Joe. Though he did not win, he managed to qualify for the Junior team, which enabled him to represent Canada at the CAT games in Puerto Rico later that year. Joe went on to win a gold medal at these games and his hunger for international success grew. Joe continued to train, and at the next National Championships, he managed to win. He cotinued competing and gaining experience world wide at various World Cups and World Championships, and eventually, qualified for the Pan-American games In Brazil. Joe won a bronze medal in Brazil, and more importantly, an Olympic quota spot for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. After a vigorous selection process, Joe was chosen to represent Canada at the 2008 Beijing games and he went on to be the youngest male Olympian to compete in the sport of Olympic Trap.
